Be it known to all citizens, be they noble or humble, that David Craner has been appointed as the first ever-official Town Crier to the Somerset town of Crewkerne.
David can be seen and heard at various events in the town when he makes announcements on behalf of the Town Council, events organisers, traders or anybody else who has a message or information to pass on.
Town Criers are a tradition dating back for centuries. A flamboyantly dressed Town Crier can help to draw attention to any occasion.
